Control Me - Feat. Lee Sissing
“Control” definition: The power to influence or direct people's behaviour or the course of events.
“Control Me” speaks of seduction and addiction to the concept of “Power”. It showcases’ how the impacts of certain environments can influence the perception of power and develop the lust for it. It is a song entwined with the lust for success in all its forms, and the submission of a person to the fantasy of the world it creates.
Even though this song was exploring an idea and concept of an interesting story to tell, I discovered while writing this song that the emotions and egos that come with the drive and desire for success are real, and that most people possess these traits. “Control Me” is a slow tempo, hard hitting arrangement with gothic Emo rock elements, driven by hard lyrics with a raw delivery that captures this emotion and ego in the flow.
